This year’s MA Curating the Art Museum students have unveiled their final project; Confusion of Tongues: Art and the Limits of LanguageÌý, this summer at The Â鶹ÊÓƵ Gallery.
This exhibition, curated by twelve students of Â鶹ÊÓƵ, draws on The Â鶹ÊÓƵ Gallery’s own collection and the Arts Council collection, bringing together a selection of noteworthy works from artists, including Susan Hiller, Oskar Kokoschka and Mohini Chandra. Each of these carefully selected works explores the power of language to construct, complicate and withhold meaning.
This exhibition is a response toÌý, a year-long programme of events and exhibitions throughout Somerset House celebrating the 500th anniversary of the publication of Thomas More’sÌýUtopia.
Open from 16 June – 17 July 2016
