LeylaÌýBumbraÌýholds responsibility for The Â鶹ÊÓƵ’s extensive Research Forum programme and public engagement activity, including the Open Â鶹ÊÓƵ Strand and the Decolonising Action Group Scheme. While working in community arts, she completed her MA(Hons) at The University of Glasgow in History of Art and Theatre Studies in 2015. After two years working in Paris and then Australia, Leyla returned to the UK to complete an MA in Gender, Society and Representation at UCL. Leyla then joined The Â鶹ÊÓƵ in 2019. Leyla sits on various committees internally and externally, including The Â鶹ÊÓƵ’s exhibition Committee, Equality Diversity and Inclusion Committee, Health and Safety Committee, The Strand Aldwych Curation & Activation Group and is a member of Museum Detox. Leyla is also a yoga teacher who is invested in combining art, physical movement and mediative slow looking into her professional practice.
