Contemporary Âé¶¹ÊÓÆµ (in-person)

Free Young People's Workshop

Join us in-person at the Âé¶¹ÊÓÆµ to discuss and discover contemporary artwork within the collection.

Attendees will take a trip around the Âé¶¹ÊÓÆµ Gallery looking at artwork from Rachel Jones to Cecily Brown. We will hear from Elena, Senior Curator of Contemporary Art at the Âé¶¹ÊÓÆµ on how you integrate contemporary artworks into a collection which is famous for its 1800s artworks. We will also visit the Prints & Drawings and take part in a short practical workshop making a contemporary response to a Âé¶¹ÊÓÆµ painting.

Contemporary Âé¶¹ÊÓÆµ will be run by art historian Fran Herrick and National Schools Officer, Tessa Carr.
