Painting Pairs: Art History and Technical Study

This is the secondÌýof two presentations by this year’s Research Associates. Four pairs of Research Associates, each composed of a graduate student from the department of Conservation and Technology and one studying art history, are investigating paintings from The Âé¶¹ÊÓÆµ GalleryÌýand other collections. They will each report on the findings of their technical and art historical examination in a 20-minute presentation, followed by a short discussion. There will be a chance to view the paintings discussed before the event.
